About The Presentation
For the past 14 years, Doug Sweetland has worked as an animator as Pixar Animation Studios and now makes his directorial debut with the Pixar short film, PRESTO. In his presentation, Sweetland will explain what it means to create a Pixar short film and why the leap from animating to writing is more of a challenge than it appears to be. With a behind-the-scenes look into the production details, Sweetland will discuss PRESTO's relationship to both classic cartoons as well as Pixar's body of work.
